Carling Cup 2011
Birmingham is celebrating its 2nd Carling Cup trophy.
The team of Alex McLeish beat Arsenal 2-1 in Wembley Stadium where 90.000 fans witnessed a fantastic match with an exciting finish. With this win Birmingham will play in the next season Europa League competition.
The final was decided in minute 89 where probably the biggest goof of the season’s took place.
After a cross and with no pressure at all, Koscielny and Szczesny and then it was really easy for Martins to score and make it the final 2-1 for Birmingham.
