KRONENBΟURG 1664

The most famous European lager

Kronenbourg 1664 took its name from the year in which master Brewer, Jerome Hatt, established the Kronenbourg Brewery in Strasbourg, Alsace.

This unique region provides all the necessary elements for the production of an extraordinary beer: pure water from the Vosges mountains, rich land for the cultivation of the Alsatian Strisselspalt variety of hop, which is considered to be the ”caviar” of hop, and high quality barley.

This dark, golden-yellow beer has a strong aroma of hop blossoms, lemon and honey. Its delicate flavor gives a first sense of rum and lemon, whilst as one goes one there are tasteful traces of spices and orange peel.
